Q: Can the work log be handwritten?
A: No. Please complete it using a computer (do not handwrite). Entries must be in chronological order. Please print on single-sided paper for submission.
Q: Can I work on weekends or holidays?
A: Wages for part-time student assistants do not cover weekends or national holidays. Therefore, please do not work on weekends or national holidays.
Q: Is there a limit on working hours?
A:
- Maximum of 8 hours per day.
- If working continuously for 4 hours, a 30-minute break is mandatory. If the total duration exceeds 4 hours, please note that it includes a 30-minute break.
- Total monthly hours must not exceed 36 hours.
Q: Where do I submit the work log?
A: Submission Process:

Please submit it to your College's Bilingual Program contact person by the announced deadline each month.

Q: Who is eligible to apply?
A: Currently, applications are only open to domestic undergraduate day-division students during the Spring Semester of their Sophomore year and the Fall Semester of their Junior year.
Q: Can I use my Sophomore grades to apply in the Spring semester of my Junior year?
A: No.
You can only apply based on the immediately preceding semester. This means grades from the Spring Semester of Sophomore year can only be used to apply in the Fall Semester of Junior year. Retroactive applications are not accepted.
