📝 English Proficiency Tests
1. Midterm English Joint Exam
No Registration Needed
20% of Semester Grade
🎯 Target:
Only for students taking "Freshman English for Professionals", "Sophomore English for Professionals", and "English for Professionals Bridging Program".
Exam lists will be imported directly by the Foreign Language Center. The test covers: Listening and Reading.
2. Midterm Exam & Graduation Threshold
No Registration Needed
Reach B1 = Pass Requirement
🎯 Target: Same as above (Students in Freshman/Sophomore Professional English courses).
The test covers: Listening and Reading (20% of course grade).
If your score reaches the university's B Level (CEFR B1), it automatically satisfies the English Graduation Requirement!

3. MoE BEST Test
Scholarship Qualifying Exam
🎯 Target: Domestic undergraduate students in the day division.
The test covers: Listening & Reading / Speaking & Writing.
Students who achieve CEFR B2 or higher in all four categories are eligible to apply for the Student Foreign Language Proficiency Scholarship!

💰 Scholarships & Awards
1. English Proficiency Test Scholarship
To encourage English learning, students who pass recognized proficiency tests with a score equivalent to CEFR B2 or higher are eligible to apply!

2. Student Bilingual Learning Award
To encourage enrollment in EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses. Sophomore undergraduate students who meet all three of the following conditions are eligible:
- Condition 1: Passed a recognized English proficiency test at CEFR B2 or higher during the sophomore year.
- Condition 2: Passed EMI course credits account for more than 20% of total credits in both semesters of the sophomore year (min. 3 credits).
- Condition 3: Ranked in the top 50% of the class or department in both semesters, and passed all EMI courses.
