To enhance English writing skills and establish a personalized consultation environment, the Foreign Language Center (formerly the Audio-Visual Center) offers free English consultation services. Through individual coaching with consultants, faculty and students can resolve difficulties in language learning and exam preparation, or receive guidance on English writing to effectively communicate in academic or professional fields.

Services are limited to current full-time faculty and enrolled students.

In accordance with the "2030 Bilingual Nation Policy," English Producers (EP) aims to strengthen students' English proficiency and scaffold their learning for EMI courses. We organize intensive speaking and writing courses focusing on productive skills, which are often challenging for students. Through systematic coaching, we enhance students' ability to communicate effectively in professional settings and diverse thematic contexts.

To boost interest and motivation in English learning among new students, the university organizes the "English Producer 101" event. By introducing diverse English learning methods, we inspire students to autonomously explore strategies that suit them best, thereby effectively bridging the gap to EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) and ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses.

We regularly hold activities focused on practical academic English skills, combining practice with exercises to comprehensively improve Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. We also organize cross-cultural workshops to enhance communication confidence.

We organize a language exchange community to encourage student interaction in small groups. This initiative aims to improve English communication skills while expanding international perspectives and cross-cultural understanding. We are looking for YOU if you are interested in cultural exchange!

Groups consist of 5-6 members (2-3 native Mandarin speakers + 2-3 non-native Mandarin speakers) using both English and Mandarin for exchange. As a local student, you can:
