💼 Merit-Based Pay Program for Distinguished Teaching Talent

To reward outstanding teaching performance and retain distinguished talents, the University has established the "Merit-Based Pay Guidelines for Distinguished Teaching Talent" in accordance with NTUT regulations. 🚩 The following EMI-related merit pay items are excluded from standard teaching evaluation calculations:

EMI Faculty Training

To enhance faculty capabilities and improve the quality of English-taught courses. Teachers are encouraged to fully participate in and complete online/off-site EMI and ESP teacher training courses organized by the University or in collaboration with prestigious overseas universities to become seed teachers.

EMI Experience Sharing Program

For faculty with outstanding EMI teaching results who share their teaching experiences and achieve significant promotional effects both on and off campus. Faculty members teaching in English are strongly encouraged to participate.

ESP Teaching Community Program

To promote English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses, this program encourages full-time (and contract) faculty to form professional teaching communities. The goal is to exchange teaching experiences, improve teaching methods, and develop innovative teaching materials.
